The Class 710 diesel locomotive (originally Class T 334.0) is a diesel-hydraulic locomotive designed for light shunting and light mainline freight service. It was manufactured by the Prague-based company ČKD (Sokolovo plant, with the final series produced at the Tatra Smíchov plant in 1966). Production subsequently continued in Slovakia at TS Martin and SMZ Dubnica. A total of 92 units were delivered to ČSD (Czechoslovak State Railways), while several hundred additional units were produced for industrial spur operations. It was manufactured between the years 1961 and 1972.
